Received four companies’ bid. Through the commission evaluating, DC company won the award.

Formal signing Beijing FCBs procurement contract

Agreement was in place to procure 3 FCBs for Beijing from DC

Construction of hydrogen refueling station in Beijing

Hold a consulting meeting of hydrogen refueling station construction

Sinohytec, BP and Tongfang brought out a tri-party agreement together about responsibilities, duties, and time schedule of construction of hydrogen refueling station

Hold GEF/UNDP project 3rd coordination meeting (Beijing project)

DC would be in charge of the operator training; an additional contract was agreed with CICETE and DC to purchase spare parts.

1.3: The accumulation of knowledge about China FCBs

1.3.1

FCB exhibition in Beijing

Hydrogen fuel-cell bus ran in Beijing on 25th May 2004, which was the first time to show “zone emission” vehicle in China. This performance had positive effect on increasing the public awareness of fuel-cell bus and hydrogen energy utilization.

Exchange experiences with other FCB projects

Promote learning among FCB projects

Publish project newsletters

4 issues published in Chinese and English respectively
