Beijing Hydrogen Park is located at Yongfeng High-Tech Parks, covering an area of 1.3 Hectare. It is 15 km away from the proposed Olympic Park. Its aim is to demonstrate clean, safe hydrogen vehicles and the related facilities, thus promoting the new technology about hydrogen utilization. Hydrogen Park will be used for exhibiting hydrogen facilities, demonstrating the outcome of FCB R&D, facilitating international cooperation, showing the technology and civilization of China, as well as the learning experience of using hydrogen.

　　The following facts justify the Hydrogen Park establishment: The rapid progress of domestic FCB project supported by China MOST and local governments; the expected collaborative project concerning hydrogen vehicle between China and US DOE; the successful implementation of GEF-UNDP “FCB Commercial Demonstration Project”; the ongoing hydrogen transportation cooperative negotiation between China and EU; the Chinese Medium-Long Term Science and Technology Development Plan ranks the FC vehicle as one of the important breakthrough fields.

　　Building a demonstration park about hydrogen transportation in Beijing is a total solution to meet most requirements of the above projects. The Hydrogen Park will include hydrogen infrastructures, FCB garage and maintenance workshop, R&D center, hydrogen exhibition & educational center. The objective of the Hydrogen Park is to be an integrative technology platform about hydrogen and fuel cell vehicles.
