Fuel cell buses and temporary hydrogen filling equipments have shown great performance since Beijing three FCBs started formal operation for public. The project has attracted great attentions from News media and public. National PMO and Beijing Public Transport Group received several interviews from TV channel, radio, magazines and newspapers. CCTV, Beijing TV, People’s Daily, China Daily, Beijing Youth etc. introduced the project respectively which contributes to create the awareness of FC technology among public.

There are many posters on the bus to illustrate the principle of FC technology and environmental-friendly performance and introduce other FCB demonstration projects across world. These posters attracted passengers’ interesting. While sale tickets, the staff explains the advantages of FCBs for passengers, such as the disable wheelchair and baby carriage enable to get on/off buses conveniently regarding bus inclines toward the edge of road.

By 25th August, the total driving kilometers of three FCBs reach 17,874 km, FC stacks work 1,092 hours, total carriage more than 2,000 passengers. FCB average speed is about 15-16 km/h, average hydrogen consumption is 18 kg/100 km briefly.
