The Third Workshop of the GEF/UNDP Demonstration for FCB Commercialization in China was held on Dec.12, 2003 in Beijing. About 30 people attended the meeting including the officials and experts from MOST, UNDP China, CICETE, National 863 Electric Vehicle Program, the National Project Management Office, Beijing Public Transport Corporation, Shanghai Electric Bus Corporation, Tsinghua University, Tongji University, and other related research institutes. Project Chief Technical Advisor. Mr. John R. Wallace also attended the meeting.

　　The meeting was presided over by Prof. Lun Jingguang, National Project Coordinator. Mr. Chen Jiachang, Deputy-Director of the National FCB Project made a speech at the meeting.

　　The main topic of the workshop was to review and discuss the bid document. Before this workshop, several preliminary meetings were held to discuss the bid document. The bid document includes four parts: Part 1 business conditions, Part 2 terms and conditions of contract, Part 3 technical specifications and requirements, Part 4 attachments. The focus of the workshop was to discuss part 1 and part 3.
