From May 10 to 12, 2004, the negotiation with Daimler Chrysler on the purchase contract was conducted. During the negotiation, both sides clarified understandings on some terms of the contract and discussed ways to resolve differences. On the basis of mutual understanding, both sides came to terms, made satisfactory agreement, and initially signed the contract. On May, 25, about the opening time of the Beijing ‘Hyforum 2004”, the two sides signed the contract formally.

　　With mutual agreement on the contract, both sides talked about the immediate following work. A common opinion was to start the infrastructure construction early, especially the hydrogen fueling station construction. The is crutial to ensure timely fuel cell bus operation.

　　In every sense, the negotiation was very successfully. Everybody was happy that the management and organizing efforts of the project are heading towards a good direction. All parties expect the project to be a successful one.
